REAL OR FAUX: THE NEW CONTROVERSIES:

So many known stores deliberately lying about the source of their fur. Labeling real as faux. Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Sals Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor all reached out of court settlements with the Humane Society and fined.

Did you know that the US federal Fur Labeling Act (set up in 1951) does not require labeling fur trim that wholesales for less than $150?

Buyer beware. Look before you buy!
IT IS SUPER SIMPLE: Gently part the hair for the fur with your fingers. If you see what looks like suede or leather, then its real. If you see the hairs coming from a backing that looks like fabric, then its faux. Speak up if you see a miss-label: speak to the store staff and the manager. Contact your local humane society and better business bureau to report this. Please help solve the problem.
