Fuzzi Studio Signage This small sign was created for the Uncommon Perspectives Show open studios event. Its small size made the cutting of the fur challenging in order to maintain legibility of the text. It is only 11" wide x 6" high.   This is a good example of how signage in a short pile with frosted tip faux fur can look. The lettering is created by colour rather than three-dimensional sculpting. It has a smooth and exotic look. Indoors only.

The Big 5-0 This piece was created for a birthday quilt that a friend, Silvia Morrison, made for her husband's 50th birthday. It is 12" wide x 12" high. The design is based on the numbers 5 and 0 which resulted in a  simple graphic that allows the depth of the sculpt and the tri-colour of the faux fur to speak for themselves.   This is a good example of how signage in a deep pile faux fur can look. Dramatic, single-point lighting will bring out the best in this style of signage. Indoors only.
